خليط من الرمان الحامض والرمان الحلو
رشة ملح طبيعي خشن
ملاحظة: 30 كغ رمان، عمل 11,5 لتر عصير رمان، و صفى عل 2 لتر دبس رمان صافي، طبيعي 100%
Ingredients
A mixture of Sweet Pomegranates & Sour Pomegranates
Sprinkle of Coarse Natural Salt
Note: 30 kgs of Pomegranates, made 11,5 litres of Pomegranate Juice and ended up with 2 Litres of Pomegranate Molasses
Preparation
- Wash & deseed your Pomegranates
- Using a hand mixer on the lowest setting, blend the mixture without crushing the white inner seeds
- Strain twice in a fine sieve then a cheese cloth
- Transfer pure juice to a pot and bring to a boil, skimming off the foam appearing on the surface. Then simmer on low heat till reduced in size and sticky, then add a sprinkle o coarse natural salt. 30 kgs of Pomegranates made 11 litres of juice, took 10 hours of simmering, which produced 2 litres of Pomegranate Molasses.
- Test if it's done by adding a drop of molasses to a cold plate, if it sets, it's done
- Avoid over cooking or it'll harden once cool
- Transfer to sterilised jars/bottles and store in the fridge or room temperature for months
